BİR GÜN KALA- THE DAY BEFORE

TÜRKÇE (For English, please scroll down.)

Belki ben beceremedim. İşte iki görüntü- TGB Deutschland'ın sitesinden!

Biz yarın (8 Nisan) Silivri'ye gitmek için hazırlıklarımızı yaptık, haydi hayırlısı, uyuyabilirsek uyuyacağız şimdi. Güvenlik güçlerimiz ise bugün Beyoğlu Emek Sineması'nın yıkılmasına karşı çıkan göstericiler üzerinde gazlı sulu alıştırmalarını yapmışlar! Onlar hazır yani!

I finally found some images on the net from yesterday's (April 6th) demonstration in Berlin in support of the Silivri "hostages"! The Ulusal channel reports 10 000 people attending. If it is true, that's a respectable number. I would have expected to find a good deal more images on the net- perhaps it's my own clumsiness. The images I found are from the TGB-Deutschland website, Here are two of them.

As for us, we are ready to set off to Silivri early tomorrow morning; may it all be for the best! The question is: can I sleep tonight? As for our security forces, they have apparently had some chance to practice with gas and water today, during a demonstration against the projected demolition of the Emek cinema in Beyoğlu (Pera), İstanbul.
